How does the Discount Calculator handle taxes and additional fees?

Most basic discount calculators are designed to calculate only the discounted price before taxes and fees. They do not have the capability to factor in additional charges automatically. You need a Discount Calculator capable of handling taxes to calculate the accurate discount percentage on such prices.

These advanced calculators allow you to enter the original price with taxes included. You can also input the tax rate. The calculator will deduct the taxes first before calculating the discount percentage on the base price.

For instance, if a product MRP is ₹120 (including 18% taxes), the base price is ₹100. A 20% discount on ₹100 base price is ₹20. So, the final discounted price would be ₹100 - ₹20 + 18% tax on ₹80 = ₹94.40.
