How do I know if my bill payment or recharge was successful?

You should get a confirmation message on your mobile number or email once you have made the payment or recharge. This message will contain info such as the amount paid as well as the plan activated and an ascertaining reference number.

You can also find the status of your payment in the platform you used, in the section ‘transaction history’ or ‘Payment history’. In this section you have a list of all your latest transactions, and the status of each is either success, pending or failed. If you don’t receive a confirmation immediately, give it a few minutes. A matter of network delay may cause sometimes the notifications to be received slow.

You may check your mobile balance/data balance whether the recharge is successful. If you still don’t see the recharge after some time, contact support. Give them your transaction or reference number to help them quickly attend to you. You can monitor all your transaction details and address issues easily.

For bill payments, the biller may also send you a receipt or confirmation. Always keep these confirmations until you’re certain the payment or recharge has been applied correctly. This will help you to be at peace and have evidence to refer if needed in the future.
