Will I lose my unused data after the plan ends?

Most prepaid user often loses any leftover data once the plan validity has expired. When the plan expires unused data balance disappears from your account.

Some operators are now also offering data rollover. Data rollover means you can seamlessly carryover your leftover data held in your plan to the next cycle only if you recharge with a qualifying plan and recharge it before your old plan expires. Not every plan will allow this, so check the plan details or your operator's terms and conditions to see if data rollover is applicable. If your plan does not allow for data rollover, any unused data will be lost the moment your validity day ends.

In order to get the best out of your data, once your plan is nearing expiry, keep an eye on your balance. If you notice you have a fair amount of data remaining, search for a 'recharge that is data rollover' and recharge it before expiration of your plan. Frequently check to see the features of your plan before recharging. If you are a high data user or usage varies; a plan with rollover may be a good option. Keeping track of your data and your validity helps to get the most value out of your mobile plan, so you can avoid any surprises when your cycle ends.
