Yes, you can recharge your prepaid number anytime you want, even if you have balance or validity left in your plan. The new recharge will be added to your available balance, the validity of your plan will be extended, or you will be credited with new benefits, as per your operator’s policy.
And some plans will layer, so you can build up one on top of another, while others will replace one plan with another. Always verify how your operator treats multiple recharges, else you might lose your remaining benefits. The flexibility here is that, you never have to worry about the balance getting down to zero to top it up.
Prepaying in advance is useful, of course, if you’d like to cash in on special offers or avoid price increases or keep uninterrupted service. It’s also good for you if you’re travelling or know you won’t be in a location with internet access when your plan runs out.
Recharge as much as you need or share it with family and friends, you have complete flexibility and control of your mobile services. If you’re not sure how your plan will be impacted, look on your operator’s app or contact customer service for clarification.
Planning your recharges in advance can come in particularly handy during festivals, national holidays or other peak times when you may require additional connectivity.
