Is there a limit on the amount I can pay for bill payments and recharges?

There are minimum and maximum transaction limits defined for bills payment and recharges by majority of the digital payment firms. The minimum top up amount is generally ₹ 10 so it's affordable for all. Maximum limits may be different depending on your carrier, payment method and any applicable regulatory limits. Some platforms, for instance, might stipulate a cap of ₹5,000 or ₹10,000 per transaction, while others may offer higher limits on verified users.

The limits are for security so they can't be abused. If you attempt to recharge above or below the maximum or minimum limits respectively, the system will not allow this and let you know what range is allowed and ask for a valid amount. In case of very high value recharge or bill payments, we may call you to complete the verification process.

This amount is subject to change, so always look in the terms and conditions of your payment platform. If you need to pay a higher amount than our limit, reach out to customer service to see how else you can pay. Staying within the prescribed bounds can also help keep your account safe and in compliance.

If you have more than one number or pay bills for other lines in your family then you may make unique payments for each account. This flexibility can help keep you within limits while filling your needs.
