A UPI-based mobile recharge is an easy and modern way to recharge your mobile number through the Unified Payments Interface or UPI. UPI is a payment option that is now becoming popular in India, because it has allows anyone with a mobile phone to transfer money almost instantly from one bank account straight to another. There is no need to remember long and complicated card numbers or net banking passwords. You only need a UPI ID with linked to the primary bank account through any UPI enabled app, like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or your bank's own app.
When it's time to recharge a mobile number, just visit your chosen recharge platform or the telecom operator's website. Enter the mobile number, select the plan, and when you reach the payment page, select UPI as your payment option. You will see a request to enter your UPI ID. Once you enter your UPI ID, you will receive a message on your mobile UPI app to authorise the transaction. Just enter your UPI PIN and the money is transferred, instantly! The recharge will be processed immediately, and you will receive an SMS confirmation of your transaction.
The best part about UPI based recharges is that they are so fast and secure. You won't have to provide card information, and you won't have to ever recall another password again All it takes is a couple taps of your phone, and you are done! UPI is available on almost every major provider site and recharge platform in India - a simple process that works for millions. Even better is the fact that it can be done when you are on the go or recharging multiple people in seconds.
