What is the time of BBPS payment?

BBPS lets you pay your bills any time you want, day or night, all year round including weekends and bank holidays.

Most payments, like mobile top-ups, electricity, and TV subscriptions, go through straight away. But for some bills, such as insurance or loan payments, there is usually a cut-off time in the evening, often between 6 pm and 8 pm. If you pay after this time, your payment might only show up the next working day.

If you pay in cash or by cheque at a shop or agent, remember they usually work during normal business hours only.

So, to make sure your payment is quick and smooth, it’s best to use online methods like internet banking, UPI, or cards. If you pay offline, try to do it before the cut-off time to avoid delays.
